We are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

HOURS: Must be able to start ASAP. Approximately 25-35 hours per week depending on production. Performance week hours: Performances are Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, plus additional hours as scheduled. Candidate’s schedule must be able to accommodate performance week hours. The house manager has minimal hours during non-performance weeks.
DUTIES: Coordinate and ensure the smooth operation of the Front of House (FOH). Other duties will include: upkeep of public areas of the theater, preparation of the seating area for each performance, orientation of volunteer ushers, coordination of curtain timing with box office and stage management and monitoring of patron activity. Ensure the safety of patrons, volunteers, and staff through the proper implementation and enforcement of emergency procedures. Coordinate the use of the patron lounge for receptions including set up, decoration, food presentation and clean up. The house manager will also function as a back up to box office staff and as such will process ticketing and donation transactions as needed.
SKILLS: Successful candidates will possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrate basic computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word on a Windows platform. The candidate will show effective communication abilities, exhibit a high attention to detail, ability to remain cool under pressure, demonstrate punctuality, and be a self-starter capable of multi-tasking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
PAY: Depends on experience.
